Nazmul is a Doctoral Candidate (ABD) at the Gaylord College in the University of Oklahoma. He is a recipient of “The 2017 Provost’s Certificate of Distinction in Teaching Award.” His area of concentration is advertising. He has recently completed his Master’s from the same college. He is also a lecturer (on study leave) of marketing in Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Bangladesh. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration (major in marketing) and Master of Business Administration (major in international business) degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before starting his academic career at OU, he worked for more than six years in both local and multinational companies as marketing and brand executives. Nazmul also contributed as a feature writer in Bangladeshi national dailies. He is currently doing researches in social media advertising, consumer motivation, consumer attitude, and brand experience. His researches has been accepted for presentation in international and national conferences including American Academy of Advertising (AAA), Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), International Communication Association (ICA), and National Communication Association (NCA).
