Nazmul is an Assistant Professor of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC)- Advertising at the Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Nazmul completed his Ph.D. in Strategic Communication (Advertising) from the Gaylord College in the University of Oklahoma. His area of concentration is advertising. He completed his Master’s from the same college. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration (major in marketing) and Master of Business Administration (major in international business) degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before starting his academic career at OU, he worked for more than six years in both local and multinational companies as marketing and brand executives. Nazmul also contributed as a feature writer in Bangladeshi national dailies. He is currently doing researches in social media advertising, consumer motivation, consumer attitude, and brand experience. He presented in international and national conferences including American Academy of Advertising (AAA), Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), International Communication Association (ICA), and National Communication Association (NCA). He is a recipient of “The 2017 Provost’s Certificate of Distinction in Teaching Award.”
